what are the age ranges
for your group trips?
Are trips are open to anyone aged 21 and older. We do offer group trips to different age ranges, though this varies from trip to trip. Our classic Scout Escapes trips range from millennials to Gen Z and our new elevated Scout Escapes + trips range from Gen X and beyond. We offer different itineraries tailored to each age group to foster friendship and exploration!
can you explain your trip pricing?
Our group trips are bespoke itineraries, using only luxury hotels and experiences. We exclusively select 4 and 5-star hotels and prioritize private guided activities and luxury transportation with trusted travel partners in the industry to provide you with an exceptional trip that is worth the price tag.
is this open to first-time
travelers abroad?
Absolutely! We craft our trips in detail and assist you every step of the way. You'll be given an abundance of information before your trip in our travel guide and welcome call, including destination info, travel tips, packing list, and restaurant and free-time recommendations. As always, you will also have your expert host and local guides with you during the entire trip!
Can i extend my trip?
Yes, you're welcome to extend your trip on either end. We can assist you with the logistics of planning your extension to make sure you arrive for the trip on time and know where you're headed after!
can i do things on my own?
how quickly do your trips sell out?
Popular itineraries for European summer tend to sell out extremely quick. We highly recommend reserving your spot with a deposit as soon as possible to confirm your spot!
where do i fly into?
We will let you know what airport we are flying in and out of for each and every trip and can even assist you with booking your flights to make sure you choose the right destinations!
what are the steps after i sign up?
After you submit your deposit & booking agreement, we will send you information for flights, travel insurance, and payment plans. Two months before the trip, we launch our Instagram group chat where everyone can meet and get to know one another. About 6 weeks before the trip we will schedule a video chat Welcome Call where we will go over the itinerary, meet the group and cover any trip important info and questions.
You can absolutely do things on your own. We have scheduled free time in every destination and provide you with suggestions of activities. You're welcome to branch off on your own or stick with the hosts a free time planned activity.
how are roommates assigned?
All attendees are required to submit an extensive questionnaire that helps us get to know you and pair roommates. We take into account sleeping habits, travel preferences, tidiness, and your hobbies and interests to choose your roommate. We also open our Instagram group chat if you prefer to find a roommate with someone you vibe with on your own!
why are most of your trips
priced in euros?
With the ever-changing foreign exchange rate, it's easier for us to price our trips in Euros as this is how we pay our vendors. But don't worry - we do the exchange rate for you when sending invoices so you will be charged in USD!
The best trip of my life! Everyone said I was crazy for going on my first international trip with a bunch of strangers but it turned out to be the best time! In the span of a week, 11 strangers became some of my favorite people who inspired me to live my best life back at home ❤️ Sam & Nicole are so incredibly nice, funny, and all around amazing women that made everyone feel comfortable despite such a wide variety of women on the trip. S/o to them for taking away the stress of planning a trip and including a variety of activities for everyone to enjoy. I also liked that we had free time each day so that we could do some things on our own. I’ve already told so many people about scout escapes and I hope to go on another trip with y’all soon!
