Bonham Hotel is a stylish boutique hotel set within a Victorian townhouse in Edinburgh’s West End, offering elegant rooms and a refined, contemporary atmosphere – 2 nights

Fife Arms is a luxurious art-filled hotel in the Scottish Highlands blending historic charm with contemporary style. – 2 nights

Skeabost House Hotel is a charming country estate on the Isle of Skye offering elegant accommodations and stunning lochside views – 2 nights

Crossbasket Castle Hotel is a restored 17th-century Scottish castle offering luxurious rooms, fine dining, and serene countryside surroundings near Glasgow – 2 nights

We have crafted a balanced itinerary for you to experience the most on your trip while having a good amount of down time throughout our trip.

  • Day 1: arrival day, check-in, welcome dinner
  • Day 2: city tour of Edinburgh with a visit to Edinburgh Castle, optional Islander handbag making experience
  • Day 3: depart Edinburgh, visit to Culross Village, private Highland Cow experience, check in at hotel
  • Day 4: full day of exploring Braemer and castle activities or visit to Blair Castle and Dunkeld, optional whiskey tasting
  • Day 5: depart Highlands, visit to Loch Ness, photo stop at Eilean Donan, overnight Isle of Skye
  • Day 6: full day Isle of Skye exploring with Fairy Glen Hike, overnight Isle of Skye

  • This trip is priced at double occupancy with an 8-person minimum. If you prefer a single room, spots are limited so please contact us for a single supplement quote.
  • Flexible payment plans available or finance further with Affirm or Klarna. Next payments (after deposit):
  • Scheduled payments are due upon receipt. There is a $30 fee for late payments made after 15 days

unique considerations for scotland

  • Flights: you will be flying into Edinburgh (EDI) October 2, 2026 & out of either Glasgow or Edinburgh (GLA OR EDI) October 10.
  • Transportation: For 5 days of this trip we will be driven by private driver guide (2-2.5 hours max at a time). We will always prioritize bathroom and meal stops and scenic spots to stretch your legs. Scotland is a road-trip destination and our itinerary embraces that
  • Weather: Average highs in the 50s with lows in the 40s. This is a transitional period in Scotland and the weather can be a bit unpredictable. Come prepared for all types of weather

CO FOUNDER / HR PROFESSIONAL & TRAVEL CREATOR

Nicole is a luxury travel advisor from Chicago and co-founder of Scout Escapes. She loves spicy food, art history, photography, pilates, and crossing new destinations and experiences off her bucket list! Morning drink is an iced vanilla oat milk latte and evening drink is a spicy margarita. Number one on her travel bucket list is Iceland and New Zealand!

Rae is a Libra through and through and she loves being the life of the party! She’s a girls girl and college football, barre, snowboarding, a good SATC marathon, girl’s night out, Chai tea lattes and country music are a few of her favorite things. She has been to over 30 countries on 5 continents, and is adding more to her bucket list every day! Her favorite places in the world are London and anywhere in the Italian countryside.

Our trips are open to anyone aged 21+. We offer segmented trips for specific age ranges: Scout Escapes for our Gen Z and Millennial travelers -or- Scout Escapes+ for our mother/daughter and Gen X and beyond travelers. We offer different itineraries tailored to each age group to foster friendship and exploration!

All attendees are required to submit an extensive questionnaire that helps us get to know you and pair roommates. We take into account sleeping habits, travel preferences, tidiness, personality, hobbies and interests to choose your roommate. We also open our Instagram group chat if you prefer to find a roommate with someone you vibe with on your own. If you prefer to be solo, single rooms are an additional fee & subject to availability.

Our group trips are bespoke itineraries, curated with luxury hotels and private experiences. We exclusively select 4 and 5-star hotels and prioritize private guided activities and luxury transportation with trusted travel partners in the industry to provide you with an exceptional trip that is worth the price tag. 

Yes, you can absolutely do things on your own. We have scheduled free time in every destination and provide you with a list of suggestions for activities. You’re welcome to explore on your own or opt in with the group for an optional free time activity. If you’re planning to explore on your own, please let us know as transfers can be difficult to obtain here.

Absolutely! Our trips are open to first-time travelers and travel veterans alike. We craft our trips in detail and can assist you every step of the way. You’ll be given an abundance of information, including destination info, travel tips, packing list, and restaurant and free-time recommendations. As always, you will also have your expert host and local guides with you during the entire trip!

With the ever-changing foreign exchange rate,  it’s easier for us to price this trip in GBP as this is how we pay our vendors. But don’t worry – we do the exchange rate for you when sending invoices so you will be charged in USD with our bank’s current spot exchange rate. This rate is subject to change depending on currency fluctuations & will be disclosed to the customer upon payment of each invoice.
