We want to prioritize your comfort and convenience to provide you the best group travel experience, so we have chosen beautiful 5-star hotels in Bali with two twin beds (double occupancy).
W Bali Seminyak is a stylish beachfront luxury resort known for its vibrant social scene, contemporary Balinese design, and lively dining, spa, and nightlife experiences in the heart of Seminyak – 3 nights
Maya Ubud is a tranquil jungle resort set across lush tropical valley landscapes in Ubud, offering private pool villas, daily wellness experiences & on-site activities, multiple dining options, and immersive connections to Bali’s cultural and spiritual heart – 3 nights

Who is this trip for?
This trip is perfect for open minded travelers looking to have new experiences, make new friends, and immerse themselves into a new culture. This trip will be full of outdoor activities, scenic views, beach days and cultural immersion in Balinese food, traditions & spirituality.
This trip is perfect for those that are looking to experience the luxurious side of Bali with a mix of relaxation and epic adventures.
Unique considerations for Bali
- Flights: you will be flying in & out of Denpasar Airport (DPS) by October 2 and depart on October 11. for week two.
- Transportation: we’ll be traveling around by car to explore the island, so be prepared for daily car rides!
- Weather: weather this time of year is mild with highs in the 80’s and lows in the 70’s. Most days are sunny with occasional short tropical showers

Meet your host
Favorite place she’s traveled: Kenya, where she spent two nights at the Giraffe Manor, feeding the gentle giants at breakfast and tea time and floating over the Masai Mara in hot air balloon at sunrise.
Top of her bucket list: Egypt, where she wants to sail down the Nile on a luxurious cruise. She would also love to hike to Machu Picchu, so she can really understand what people went through to get there when they were building it. The hotel she’s swooning over is the ultra-luxe Amangiri in Utah.
Her favorite hidden gems: Two of her favorite hidden gems are in Athens: one is a vintage store that has great pieces of art and matchbooks and the other is a street artist that creates watercolors of the monuments. Both of these make amazing souvenirs that are so meaningful and not mass produced!
Her top travel tips: Ask the local barista or bartender what their favorite restaurant is. You’re more likely to find a local spot when you ask someone who lives there. Also, when planning a trip, build your itinerary based on one to two “anchors” per day, to avoid overbooking yourself. And don’t be afraid to change your plans if they no longer align with your trip goals!
Little luxuries she loves when traveling: Hotels with turndown services like dimming the lights, turning down the covers, and setting out slippers. She also loves a local spa treatment of some kind, a Thai Massage in Thailand, a Japanese Head Spa in Japan, or Sauna in a Nordic Country. It’s fun to try a beauty treatment that’s popular in the country you’re visiting!

What is the age range?
Our trips are open to anyone aged 21+. We offer segmented trips for specific age ranges: Scout Escapes for our Gen Z and Millennial travelers -or- Scout Escapes Beyond for our mother/daughter and Gen X and beyond travelers. We offer different itineraries tailored to each age group to foster friendship and exploration!
Can you explain your pricing
Our group trips are bespoke itineraries, curated with boutique hotels and private experiences. We exclusively select 4 and 5-star hotels and prioritize private guided activities and private transportation with trusted travel partners in the industry to provide you with an exceptional trip that is worth the price tag.
Is this open to first-time travelers?
Absolutely! Our trips are open to first-time travelers and travel veterans alike. We craft our trips in detail and can assist you every step of the way. You’ll be given an abundance of information, including destination info, travel tips, packing list, and restaurant and free-time recommendations. As always, you will also have your expert host and local guides with you during the entire trip!
How are roommates assigned?
All attendees are required to submit an extensive questionnaire that helps us get to know you and pair roommates. We take into account sleeping habits, travel preferences, tidiness, personality, hobbies and interests to choose your roommate. We also open our Instagram group chat if you prefer to find a roommate with someone you vibe with on your own. If you prefer to be solo, single rooms are an additional fee & subject to availability.
Can I explore on my own?
Yes, you can absolutely do things on your own. We have scheduled free time in every destination and provide you with a list of suggestions for activities. You’re welcome to explore on your own or opt in with the group for an optional free time activity.
Why are your trips priced in USD?
For this group trip, we have converted the total cost in USD from Icelandic currency, to make the exchange rate easier for our guests!
